Terms of Service — Pocket KBM

These terms cover the Pocket KBM Android app (package name com.angel.pockethid, “the app”). Installing or using it means you accept them. The app is developed and published by Disconnect Lab, reachable at contact@hakus.cc.

The app turns your phone into a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and gamepad. It has no network access, no accounts and no backend, so there is no “service” here to interrupt — the copy you installed is the whole of it.

What you may use it for

Use it with computers you own, or have permission to control. Do not use it to operate a computer you are not authorised to use. While connected, every key, click and macro goes straight to that computer, exactly as a physical keyboard and mouse would. What you send is your responsibility.

Pro (a one-time purchase)

• Pro is unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. It is not a subscription and does not recur.
• The entitlement belongs to your Google account, not to one handset. After a new phone or a reinstall, “Restore purchase” in Settings brings it back.
• Payment, invoicing and refunds are handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your payment details. Refund requests go to Google under Google Play’s refund policy.
• Buying and restoring need the phone to reach Google Play at that moment — the app itself does not go online; the Play Store checks on its behalf.

What we cannot promise

Bluetooth HID is a standard, but whether a given computer honours a given key is that computer’s decision, not something the app controls. These limits are known and will not change; please understand them before buying:

• The extra keys (volume, playback, brightness, browser and so on) vary by host. The same key can work on Windows and do nothing at all on macOS. The app says so on the screen where you enable them, and the free tier is there so you can test first.
• The gamepad is DirectInput only. Games that support only XInput — many modern PC titles — will not see it. Nintendo Switch mostly does not support it.
• No analog triggers and no rumble. LT/RT are digital buttons, and a game cannot make a Bluetooth keyboard or gamepad vibrate; the app’s vibration is your own phone’s haptics.
• Some phones’ firmware lacks the Bluetooth HID Device role. Those phones can only use Bluetooth LE, where discovery is slower, range is shorter, and pairing must be started from the computer.

Connecting, the trackpad, the keyboard and the gamepad are free forever precisely so that you can confirm your own computer works before paying anything.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from its use — including a keystroke sent in error, a dropped connection, or a computer operated at the wrong moment. It is an emergency input device: please do not make it your only means of input where safety or continuity matters.

Changes

These terms may be updated; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the app means accepting the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
